Concours

We had a good time and results at the WDRA NATIONALS. I qualified my GBX2 sprint in the TQ position and finished 3rd in the A main after getting spun while leading. Mike finished 6th in his OUTLAW sprint. In 17.5 Sportsman EDM, I qualified 3rd and finished 3rd but, was I was able to lead for 11 laps before getting spun by a lapped car. Mike moved from his 5th place starting position to a very nice 2nd place finish.

Had my chance to win one of these but, I put my cars in the wrong place at the wrong time. My cars were on rails and I had the fastest lap in both A mains but, you have to stay out of trouble and this is the one thing I did not accomplish.

We had a great time at the Nationals, the track was good, Kirt and Todd did a great job, and the racing was a blast. Congrats go out to Pace for his wins in 17.5 Sportsman and 13.5 Sprint.
