It was a good day for mike and I at chicos. We swapped rolls today with mike winning sprint and me winning edm. I was 2nd in sprint and mike was 2nd in edm.

Now for the mains..

So far it has been awesome at chico's I was able to TQ sprint and qual 5th for the A in 17.5 EDM. Mike is 3rd in sprints and 2nd in EDM. The mains will be starting soon.

Concours

We had a good time and results at the WDRA NATIONALS. I qualified my GBX2 sprint in the TQ position and finished 3rd in the A main after getting spun while leading. Mike finished 6th in his OUTLAW sprint. In 17.5 Sportsman EDM, I qualified 3rd and finished 3rd but, was I was able to lead for 11 laps before getting spun by a lapped car. Mike moved from his 5th place starting position to a very nice 2nd place finish.

Had my chance to win one of these but, I put my cars in the wrong place at the wrong time. My cars were on rails and I had the fastest lap in both A mains but, you have to stay out of trouble and this is the one thing I did not accomplish.

We had a great time at the Nationals, the track was good, Kirt and Todd did a great job, and the racing was a blast. Congrats go out to Pace for his wins in 17.5 Sportsman and 13.5 Sprint.

Mother Nature shuts us down

We got about half way through the second round of three when the rain came down. It was decided we would continue Sunday morning with the prospect of great weather. So far, qualifying has went well for me as I currently have both of my cars seeded in the A mains, we will see what Sunday brings and i will try to report on final qualifying and the mains.
